I have no idea how many picture posts about Edinburgh will make, but there will be more, that’s for sure! And no, I don’t take pictures of my back the whole time, but I took a few for my ‘Wanderlust’ project (more about that later!). This one didn’t make the cut, ha, but I liked the dramatic lightning anyway ;)
So here are basically a lot of pictures, I hope you enjoy looking at them! I’m by no means a landscape-photographer. I can take quirky self portraits of half-out-of-focus ‘mysterious’ pictures of foggy woods but ehm, that’s as far as my photography-skills go ;) But Edinburgh is very pretty on it’s own anyway, so no great pictures needed :D
Most (not all!) of these pictures were taken on day 1, when I just arrived and explored the city a bit. Also went to Calton Hill (next to my hotel!) and there was a beautiful sky as the sun was coming out of the clouds :D Also went to a pub to eat (mm mozzarella-pesto-burger! And old men drinking pints and watching football D:), visited cemeteries and just took a thousand pictures. I might also have visited a Primark :x At day 2 I went to Arthur’s Seat, the National Museum (I probably make a whole post about that one, it was huge!) and visited a teeny tiny Forbidden Planet (pictures in this post!), St. Giles Cathedral, Greyfriars Kirk, Edinburgh University.. I might have visited aforementioned Primark.. again :x Also looked around for galleries that I couldn’t find.. I walked SO MUCH in those 3 days! Anyway, here are a few pictures :)
No one puts Dumbledore in a corner! (He was not amused to say the least)
I’m normally anti-Starbucks but ehm 2-shot-soy-latte (what a word!) for 1,50 pounds? YES PLEASE! And they also ALMOST spelled my name right! Awww I love you Starbucks (uhm, oh wait no I don’t).
Sometimes it wasn’t raining and there were actually flowers in bloom! Can you imagine? ;)
